VCA Entrant Information 2024

Dear Virtual Cheese Awards entrant,

Thank you very much for entering your cheese/s into this year’s award.

This year the Virtual Cheese Awards judging will happen in three parts;

  1. Class judging on 24th, 25th and 26th April 2024. The judged classes are recorded and will be shared on our YouTube channel at the start of May.

  2. Live Category judging hosted by Nigel Barden on Tuesday 14th May 2024 which will be LIVE and streamed on our YouTube, Facebook pages as well as live stream on our website.

  3. Live FINAL on Wednesday 15th May 2024 which will again be hosted by Nigel Barden and will include the Supreme Judging and the winners will be announced.

However, before we enjoy the event, we need to ensure that we take safe delivery of your precious cheese samples, ready to collate into the judging boxes.

This pack contains all the labels you will need for sending samples both to the CLASS & the CATEGORY/ FINAL judging.

PLEASE KEEP ALL YOUR LABELS UNTIL YOU KNOW THE RESULTS AS FURTHER SAMPLES MAY BE REQUIRED IF YOU WIN A CLASS.

You will need to send 4 samples for each entry you have made. (All 4 samples must look the same.) If you are cutting your cheese, please prepare to a weight of about 150g -200g of cheese.

In this pack you will find;

1. Unique code labels to apply to each sample of the 4 cheeses.

Please complete the use by date on this label, this helps assess suitability when donating any spare cheese to the charity Food in Community.

2. Sample information

This tells you which code relates to which cheese.

3. An address label for; Sandra at White Lake Cheese Ltd to apply to the outside of the box

4.  A “sent by” label with your name & address to apply to the outside of the box to help Sandra upon its arrival.

***If you are missing any of the above information above then please let me know immediately.***
